What Is Skin Needling?

Also known as microneedling, skin needling uses ultra-fine, medical-grade needles to gently puncture the skin. This stimulates your body to naturally produce collagen and elastin, helping your skin renew itself from within. Our treatments refine texture, improve firmness, and restore radiance, all without surgery.

FAQ

Is skin needling painful?

Skin needling can cause some discomfort, but most people find it tolerable. We can use numbing cream to help minimise any pain or discomfort.

How long does it take to see results from skin needling?

You may notice some immediate results, such as smoother and brighter skin, but the full effects of the treatment can take several weeks or even months to fully appear. The production of collagen and elastin takes time, so results are usually seen gradually over time.

Is there any downtime after a skin needling treatment?

You may experience some redness and mild swelling, but these side effects usually subside within a few days. You may also notice some slight bruising or pinpoint bleeding at the treatment site, but this is normal and nothing to be concerned about. We recommend avoiding sun exposure and wearing sunscreen after the treatment.

Is skin needling safe while pregnant?

Yes - although, during pregnancy, the skin can be more sensitive and prone to irritation and inflammation, which can increase the risk of adverse reactions to skin needling. However, you will not be able to use topical anaesthetics while pregnancy.
